SECTION OPERATIVE PROFILES

ADRIAN (Sian Phillips, actress):  Revealed in season 2 as the founder of the Sections. Also referred to as "the mother of Section One". Was once George's superior then his lover. Determines to destroy Section One in Season 2 finale using the Gemstone file (a file that proves Operations has abused his power). When the plan fails Adrian is supposedly cancelled, but Madeline intervenes and Adrian becomes the subject of a mind-altering experiment known as the Gellman process. In the opening arc of Season 4 Adrian is used as collateral by Michael although her mind has failed her. Michael then places her in a safehouse of his choosing to hide her from Operations and Madeline. Adrian eventually succumbs to the effects of the Gellman process and is hidden in a tomb by the safehouse curator when he fears retaliation by Michael.

AIMES, ROGER (Peter Outerbridge, actor): Section One field operative, most likely Level 2. He has an eight year old son, Kyle, that Section is unaware of. When Suba (a rogue "Agency player") kidnaps the boy to force Roger to help him stay one step ahead of Section, Roger enlists Nikita’s help to free the boy. When the boy is recovered and returned to his foster parents Section cancels Roger for his betrayal. Roger appears in S1 "Treason".

BIRKOFF, SEYMOUR (Matthew Ferguson, actor): Seymour and his twin, Jason, are both born inside Section to an Operative named "Lisa", who was later killed on a mission. As an experiment, one twin was released the other remained in Section. Walter decided who would go and who would stay – by the flip of a coin. Both twins show remarkable talents in the field of technology. As Level 4 Head of Communications, Birkoff has many responsibilities. Duties include Intel verification, system security, mission analysis, tactical liaison, etc. Birkoff is known to have performed as a field op in only two missions: infiltrated a terrorist organization in "Any Means Necessary" and posed as a courier in "Into The Looking Glass". In all other missions he performed as the on site Comm expert. Near the end of Season 4 Birkoff builds an Artificial Intelligence as a backup should he ever become "unavailable". The AI presumed to take over for Birkoff and in order to take down the AI, Birkoff "cancels" himself and the AI. Jason, his twin, is then "recruited" and brought in to take Seymour’s place. This is done so that the death of a department head would not show up on Ops’ record as an anomaly.

BRIAN (Markus Parilo, actor): Former mentor to new recruit "Karen". Informs Nikita that Karen does not belong in Section One and intimates that she has mental problems. Terrified of his own material, Brian realizes that Karen knows he is going to recommend against her and tries to stay away from her. Karen subsequently kills Brian, for his betrayal, during a live mission. Brian’s actual Level status unknown. Profiled in S1 "Recruit".

BRIANNA (profiled only): Abeyance operative. Ex-junkie, she was recruited after being convicted of a double homicide, drug related. Scored well in physical and tactical but Section believed she would start using again given the chance. Cancellation recommended. Profiled in S1 "Gambit".

CARLA (Anais Granofsky, actress): Carla is Nikita’s neighbor, living across the hall in apartment 411. Carla is introduced in S1 "Nikita" and remains a close friend of Nikita’s over the next two years. In the S2 finale, "End Game" it is discovered that Carla is an agent of Adrian (mother of Section One) and she has been spying on Nikita from the beginning. Carla is killed by Michael, and his team, in the S2 finale.

CRAWFORD, JASON (Matthew Ferguson, actor): Jason and his twin, Seymour, are both born inside Section, to an Operative named "Lisa", who was later killed on a mission. As an experiment, one twin was released the other remained in Section. Walter decided who would go and who would stay – by the flip of a coin. Both twins show remarkable talents in the field of technology. When Seymour commits suicide to save Section One from the Artificial Intelligence he created, Jason is "recruited" and brought in to take Seymour’s place. This is done so that the death of a department head would not show up on Ops’ record as an anomaly. At the conclusion of S4 Jason is made a Level 1 operative and assistant to the current Head of Comm: Kate Quinn. Sent on a mission to gather Intel at Centre (by Operations), Jason is currently working under the auspices of Mr. Jones. Jason returns to Section One in S5 to help locate The Collective. He remains in Section One at the series end.

DAVENPORT (Lawrence Bayne, actor): Davenport is a level 5 field operative and team leader in Section. Little is known about Davenport other than that he respects Michael but is consistently pitted against him and not nearly of the same caliber. Operations uses him to monitor Michael and Nikita. Davenport is eventually killed by Michael in S4 finale.

DEMMING (Shane Daly, actor): Centre operative. Accompanies Mr. Jones (posing as Mick Schtoppel) when he goes to see Massima Valenti. Even though Demming is functioning as Jones’ bodyguard, Nikita uses a stun gun to incapacitate him and then proceeds to abduct "Mr. Jones". Current status unknown, though he was probably cancelled after the Valenti mission.  Demming is profiled in S5 "All The World’s A Stage".

DORI (Jennifer Finnigan, actress): Recruited into Section when she was exposed during the Burn Mission in which her brother was the intended target. Dori is assigned to Comm in early S4 specializing in operating systems. When caught trying to escape Section, Madeline subjects her to the Gellman process. Current status unknown.

DRAYSON (actor unknown): Section operative on first team during the Tyler mission. Michael orders Drayson to follow Tyler out of the bar and follow his movements. Drayson is profiled in S1 "Mercy".

ELIZABETH (Lindsay Collins, actress): Torture Twin. Operative specializing in torture and interrogation techniques. Uses latest medical and scientific technology to force containment occupants to debrief. Always works with Henry. Elizabeth is featured in all five seasons of La Femme Nikita.

ERIC (Jaimz Woolvett, actor) Watcher, most likely Level 1 or 2. Assigned to watch operatives via surveillance cameras during their downtime. Operatives are not watched all the time, just enough to make sure they are under control. Has also watched Michael on occasion. Eric also seems to provide technical assistance on active missions. Failing to convince Nikita to escape with him, he initiates a virus that erases him from Section’s primary database. The backup system engages and he is recaptured. . .and most likely cancelled. Eric is profiled in S1 "Escape".

FLAVIUS / MR. JONES /PHILIP (Edward Woodward, actor): Revealed in S5 as the true Head of Centre. Little is known about him other than that he has two children, one a Section Operative – Nikita. Although he knew of Nikita and Roberta’s hardships he made a vow not to interfere in their lives in hopes that Nikita would develop into the strong individual he believes her to be. In the event of his death, Mr. Jones wants Nikita to replace him. After creating a situation that forces Michael and Nikita to choose between their relationship and Adam’s life, Mr. Jones secures Nikita’s promise that she will remain in Section and become the new Operations. Mr. Jones then trades himself for Adam and is killed during the exchange by The Collective.

FORRESTER (Kedar Brown, actor): Walter’s replacement in Munitions. Met Nikita once during his tenure at the Madrid station. Shows barely concealed hostility toward her when it is revealed she has betrayed Section. In an act of rebellion, he adamantly refuses to adjust the contrast on some infrared sites at her request, saying he does things by the book. Forrester mysteriously disappears when Walter returns at the end of the episode. Forrester is profiled in S5 "Deja Vu All Over Again".

GAIL (Tara Slone, actress): was Birkoff's girlfriend in early S2. Her function was Comm assistant. Would bleed money from terrorist accounts. Section allowed her to "steal" from decoy accounts to accommodate her habit. Birkoff struggled with turning her in when he discovered the anomaly. Not much seen of her in successive seasons.

GEORGE (David Hemblen, actor): Revealed in season 3 as the Chairman of Oversight. Does not trust Operations or Madeline and is continually trying to unseat them. Is framed in late season 3 by Madeline and accused of Treason for giving up "the Key file" which supposedly could bring Operations down. Ends up working out a deal with Operations and remains in power through season 4. During season 4 George attempts to "download" the expertise of top Section One operatives but fails. He is apprehended by Operations near the end of Season 4 and supposedly cancelled. This becomes a source of contention between Operations and Mr. Jones.

GERARD, SARAH (Juliet Landau, actress): Age 25, no immediate family, on medical leave from her administrative job at a community college. Diagnosed with terminal ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia), she is given only a few months to live. Due to her physical resemblance she is shadow recruited as a wet duplicate to impersonate courier Jan Baylin in S3 “Before I Sleep”. Post mission status is unknown although it is likely she never left Section alive.

GLIK (Michael Chan, actor): Field operative, probably Level 2. Assigned to Michael’s team for the Kusko mission in S2 "Double Date". Glik is seen setting up perimeter security at their camp in the forest located in Western Muldova. Glik has his throat slit by David Fanning during mission evacuation.

GOLIAC (actor unknown): Field Operative, level unknown. Referred to as "Operations’ Pit Bull". Operations assigns Goliac to follow O’Brien and report on his dealings with Nikita. Recognizing the tail, O’Brien shoots Goliac in his surveillance position outside the crypt where Adrian is buried. Goliac is profiled in S5 "In Through The Out Door".

HENDERSON, MARTIN see SCHTOPPEL, MICK

HENRY (Josh Holliday, actor): Torture Twin. Operative specializing in torture and interrogation techniques. Uses latest medical and scientific technology to force containment occupants to debrief. Always works with Elizabeth. Henry is featured in all five seasons, although played by a different actor in Season 1.

HEYMAN (Reuben Thompson, actor): Field operative, most likely Level 2. Assigned to Michael’s team as Comm Op for the Kusko mission in S2 "Double Date". His actual function is to keep an eye on David Fanning, a hitman, recruited specifically for the Kusko mission. If Fanning should seek revenge on Michael and Nikita for taking his wife Lisa from him, Heyman is authorized to cancel him. Fanning kills Heyman on the mission during evacuation by throwing a knife, catching him in the chest.

HILLINGER, GREG (Kris Lemke, actor): Fuzzy Logic is our first intro to a recurring character. Hillinger is a young mathematical genius. Graduated high school at age 11, college at age 13. Obtained PhD after 6 months, thesis was on Non Linear Principle Components. Youngest tenured professor in the history of the University, thus highly visible. Written several papers on statistical L-trees, just the kind of approach Section needs. Turned down intelligence agencies trying to recruit him - his mom doesn't want her only son designing weapons. Should mention that he would make the sixth operative recruited into Section having not committed any crime. Greg reprises his role in S3 Three Eyed Turtle where he tries to "set up" Birkoff. This leads to his placement in abeyance. End of episode reveals he is working for George in Oversight with a plan to take control of Section One. Greg shows up again in S4 Line In The Sand where he makes some errors at Oversight in a Section One mission involving the capture of Red Cell’s “Cardinal”. Hillinger is cancelled in S4.

JAMEY (Gabriel Hogan, actor): A new recruit who just happened to grow up in the same neighborhood as Nikita. When he gets himself in trouble for several mistakes on missions, he entices Nikita to assist him by offering to give her information about her mother. Though they were never actually friends, Nikita helps get him through some missions. Jamey’s current status is unknown. Profiled in S3 "Walk On By".

JURGEN (Bruce Payne, actor): Special Ops, Level 3/Reprogramming. Considering Michael and Nikita's tenure, Jurgen has been in Section approximately 10 to 15 years. He currently specializes in psych analysis, physical conditioning, training, etc. Was Michael's trainer and mentor when Michael was recruited. Nikita is assigned to Jurgen in the beginning of S2 so that he can evaluate whether she still meets Section standards after having been "out" for six months. Jurgen is unique in that he held sensitive information on the Section and used it as a firewall to protect himself. The info was loaded up on to servers that had to have the codes refreshed every few days or the Intel would be downloaded all over the world. In Approaching Zero in S2 Michael and Birkoff destroy the Intel making Jurgen vulnerable. He chooses to "cancel" himself on a mission rather than live by Section rules.

KAREN (Felicity Waterman, actress): Becomes Nikita’s material a mere two weeks before she completes training. Operations indicates it will be Nikita’s decision as to whether Karen will remain in Section or be cancelled. Ops and Madeline are testing Nikita as well as Karen, assessing Nikita’s judgment and resolve despite her reluctance to "kill in cold blood". Karen kills her former mentor/trainer Brian during a mission in order to protect herself from cancellation. . .she knows she’s not up to Section standards. Psych profile indicates she’s not a one timer but started killing when she was seven, her grandmother. When her actions on missions reveal she kills without conscience, she is cancelled. Profiled in S1 "Recruit".

KARSOV, ANDREA (Celine Bonniere, actress): New mission profiler transferred from the Asian Sector. Totally dedicated to Section. Suspected of being emotionally unstable, Ops suggests a test using Michael as the valentine op. When she fails and threatens Michael's life, she is cancelled. (Actress Celine Bonniere is Roy Dupuis' girlfriend in real life.)

KELLY ( , actor): One of Oversight’s candidates to assume command of Section One following Paul Wolfe’s death. Kelly has a reputation in Oversight – nothing is ever good enough for him. Kelly is profiled in S5 "A Time For Every Purpose".

KRISTOV (Noah Klar, actor): Level One field operative, active for just a few months. Tells Nikita that most operatives are counting on her to make a difference, to them she’s a hero. When Kristov’s name is pulled from the Abeyance pool to make a drop for the Dolmatov mission, Nikita turns away as O’Brien shoots him rather than risk exposure with a silent drop. Kristov is profiled in S5 "Deja Vu All Over Again."

KRONEN (David Hirsh ,actor): Section operative hired by Egran Petrosian to take out Operations. During a briefing on the Grufeld mission in S2 "New Regime", Kronen shoots Operations in the chest. Walter immediately kills Kronen as he watches from Munitions. Nikita eventually discovers Kronen agreed to the hit in order to make a better life for his mother who is destitute in Brazil.

KRUGER, BENJAMIN (Christopher Bolton, actor): Although innocent of any crime, Kruger is recruited by Section One for his perfectly developed photographic memory. High School dropout, drifts from job to job, lives alone. His was a shadow recruitment - if he performs on a specific mission he will be released. Nikita tries to use him to discover why she was recruited.

KWONG, JASMINE (Kira Clavell): Orphaned at birth; her parents wanted a boy. Chinese law says one child per family, so they sent Jasmine to a foster home with similarly placed girls. Section Intel confirmed that she was quietly putting together financing to make a major statement about this particular segment of Chinese policy. Reluctant and rebellious at recruitment, she quickly advances to recon leader of the team of new recruits. She leads her team to rescue Michael and Nikita in S4 "Time To Be Heroes". Jasmine returns to Section One in S5 "A Girl Who Wasn’t There". Nikita asks her to volunteer for a new pilot program involving less surveillance, more down time and a monthly limit on Class A Missions for field operatives. Jasmine appears a few times during the S5 arc. Current status unknown.

LEBECK (actor unknown): One of the operatives assigned to Operations when he attempts to rescue Adam from The Collective. The Collective kills LeBeck during the mission. LeBeck is profiled in S5 "Let No Man Put Asunder".

LONNIE (Jon Wildman, actor): Operative assigned to the perimeter team covering the art gallery housing the Stinger missiles headed for Cyrus Kavali. He is killed by a hostile in the alley. Lonnie is profiled in S1 "Noise".

MADELINE: see SAND, MADELINE (FRAYN)

MARCO (Derwin Jordan, actor): Operative that accompanies Michael on the Kudrin mission to Hong Kong. Marco is the first to determine that Michael didn’t actually kill Kudrin. Marco is profiled in S2 "Spec Ops".

MCDANIEL: (Mark Lutz, actor): was the operative in Third Party Rip-off who was told to agitate Michael regarding his "demotion". McDaniel was a member of Davenport's team and most likely a level 2 field op.

MICHAEL: see SAMUELLE, MICHAEL

MICHELLE (Polly Shannon, actress): Oversight. Assistant to Mr. Jones, probable sibling to Nikita and daughter of Philip (the real Mr. Jones). Michelle is profiled in the S5 arc, though her parentage is never confirmed.

MONK, MYRA (Brioni Farrell, actress [she is ERG’s wife in real life]): One of Oversight’s leading candidates to assume command of Section One following Paul Wolfe’s death. Oversight considers her smart, with a good attitude but her subordinates think she’s a jerk. Has a history with Walter though. Twenty years ago, while assigned to Spec Ops at Oversight, Walter and Myra find themselves on a mission in Paris. She wanted to spend their 36 hours of downtime in bed - Walter disagreed. In her anger, Myra put him in "every deadly situation that came along". Walter feels that if she takes command of Section his tenure will come to an end, so he asks Jason to help him insure she doesn’t get the job. Jason inserts some damaging intel into her profile to take her out of the running. She is apprehended by Section operatives and taken to containment. Myra is profiled in S5 "A Time For Every Purpose".

MOWEN (Roman Podhora, actor): Section Operative sent to stop Michael when Birkoff traces him to Sonia Martine’s location. He promises Nikita he will try to bring Michael back alive since he had saved Mowen’s life twice. After dating Gail, Birkoff’s latest love interest, Mowen is eventually killed by a bacterial anthrax variant he picks up during a mission to a Red Cell facility in Glasgow, Scotland. Mowen appears in S2 "Mandatory Refusal" and "Inside Out".

MR. JONES: see FLAVIUS/PHILIP or SCHTOPPEL, MICK

NIKITA (Peta Wilson, actress): Field operative, Level 6. Identification code: 31J7. Is promoted during Season 4 finale from Level 2 Field Op to Level 6. Recruited 6 years earlier from prison where she was sent for supposedly killing a police officer. In S3 it is revealed that Nikita was set up by the Section in order to recruit her. Born to Roberta Wirth, Nikita grows up on the streets and is eventually kicked out by her mother because "the boyfriend" didn’t like her. Has an uncanny ability to improvise and successfully complete her missions. Section sees her compassion and humanity as weaknesses. Falls in love with her mentor and trainer Michael. Befriends Walter and Birkoff and is generally well liked and respected by other operatives. Although it is not condoned, her relationship with Michael is well known inside the Section. Between S1 and S2 Nikita is recruited by Mr. Jones at Centre and asked to return to Section and perform a deep cover evaluation. At the conclusion of S3 she is subjected to the Gellman process for her defiance regarding her relationship with Michael. Michael finds a way to restore her with Adrian’s help. In the S4 finale her cover is revealed and her relationships at Section disintegrate. She orders Michael’s cancellation, Walter’s transfer to the farm, and Operation’s extended term as head of Section. With "another card to play" Nikita returns for a 5th and final season. Without Michael’s protection her return to Section is precarious and not well received (not that it ever was). Nikita locates her father, Phillip, the real Mr. Jones, Head of Centre. When forced to choose between her freedom and the life of Michael’s son, Nikita chooses to remain behind and assume command of Section One as the new "Operations".

O'BRIEN, MARCO (Stephen Shellen, actor): Former detective with CIA connections. Profiled in S1 "Voices". Identified Nikita in 1997 during a rape attempt witnessed by an elderly woman. When he continues his pursuit to make her testify, Section frames him for the murder of the rapist, Jack Crane. O'Brien is given the choice between recruitment and imprisonment. He chooses to join Section. O'Brien returns in S5 as Michael's "temporary" replacement. He is killed during a mission in S5 "The Man Behind The Curtain".

OPERATIONS / PAUL WOLFE (Eugene Robert Glazer, actor): Head of Section One and next in line as Chairman of Oversight. Paul is recruited for the Section approximately 25 years earlier when taken from a Vietnamese Prison Camp. His status at recruitment was Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps (American nationality is implied from his appearance at the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington D.C. where he locates his own name in "Sympathy For the Devil"). Once married to Corinne Wolf Martelli, he has one known legitimate son by the name of Stephen Wolf. Corinne appears in "Love and Country" (S3). Stephen appears in "Missing" (S1) and is later killed. Paul rose quickly within the ranks of Section One and at one time had a relationship with Madeline, his second in command. At the end of Season 4 when he is on the verge of taking George's position, he is ordered to remain in Section One for an additional seven years. Although Operations is a ruthless leader, he can at times show a soft spot for those few operatives under his command that he respects. In a final effort to keep his struggling organization afloat, without the help of Madeline, Operations undertakes a mission to save Adam’s life thereby securing his position at Section. In the rescue attempt a lead member of The Collective kills Operations.

PETROSIAN, EGRAN (Nigel Bennet, actor): Petrosian is seen in only two eps: "Rescue" in season 1, and "New Regime" in season 2. In the episode "Rescue" Petrosian is revealed to be a deep cover, level 9, operative of Section One for over 17 years as the head of the Russian Secret Police. When "brought in" in the same episode he shows a remarkable fascination with Nikita. He returns for an encore performance in "New Regime" in season 2 where he attempts to take over Section One and kill Operations. When the plan fails he is cancelled.

QUINN, KATE (Cindy Dolenc, actress): Succeeds Birkoff as Head of Communications at end of S4 as a Level 2 operative. Seems to work well under pressure as shown in teaser when she is introduced. Not much is known about Quinn but we can assume she has been in Section for awhile since her abilities allow her to take Birkoff's position. In the second episode of S5 she is promoted to Level 3 by Operations.

RUDY (Maury Chaykin, actor): A ‘simple’ pizza delivery man finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time in S1 “Innocent”. Witnessed targets of an active mission and is therefore shadow recruited to verify identification of the hostiles. Has a sister, Belinda, institutionalized with Down’s Syndrome and is primarily concerned with her well-being. Against his better judgment, Operations agrees to release Rudy (with a transmitter for monitoring purposes), after the mission, on the condition that Nikita cancel him herself should anything go wrong. Current status is unknown.

SAMUELLE, MICHAEL (Roy Dupuis, actor): Level 5 Field Operative, Team Leader, expected to succeed Operations as head of Section One. Born 1965 in Marseilles, France most likely to a well to do family. Arrested during a violent student demonstration at Paris University. Was a member of L’ Heure Sanguine (The Bloody Hour, formed 1984) along with friend Rene Dian. Orphaned at a young age, he has one sister living with her husband and son in the French countryside. After recruitment he graduated training 9 months early and rose quickly to level 3. Specializes in martial arts, marksmanship, mission profiling, and team leader. Multi-lingual. Most respected and feared operative in Section, by both sides. Reveals little of what he is thinking. Married once to Simone, another field op, she is captured during a mission he supervised, was tortured and later killed. Went under deep blood cover for seven years in order to take out Salla Vacek. Married Vacek’s daughter Elena and had one son, Adam. Cover ended early in S3. Becomes Nikita’s mentor and trainer at her recruitment and falls in love with her. Allows her to become his weakness. At S4 finale Michael is sentenced to cancellation by Nikita, assigned to an abeyance mission, and later rescued by Nikita herself. Michael re-emerges in S5 as a "mole" for The Collective. He plays the two sides against one another in an attempt to buy his way back into Section One so that he can locate his son. When confronted by Mr. Jones he demands Adam’s location and Nikita’s release from Section. When it comes to choosing between his own life and his son’s, Michael agrees to commit suicide when handed over to The Collective. In the end Mr. Jones offers his own life in exchange for Adam’s. . .at a price. Nikita must stay behind and run Section. Michael leaves her behind to go and raise his son, but he’ll be back. . .

SAMUELLE, SIMONE (Mung-Ling Tsui, actress): Field operative, most likely Level 2. Married to fellow operative and Team Leader Michael Samuelle. Gives birth to a baby boy who dies in infancy. Michael believes Section had something to do with it and subsequently suffers from nightmares. Simone is captured on a mission against Glass Curtain in 1994. She requests backup on the mission but is told it isn’t necessary by the Team Lead – Michael. The head of Glass Curtain, Errol Sparks, keeps her alive for the next several years for collateral, torturing her during her captivity. In 1997 Section operative Nikita discovers Simone at the compound on a mission against Glass Curtain. When Michael and Nikita try to extract Simone, she locks herself in a room with Sparks and blows up the compound. Although Sparks lives to return in S3 "I Remember Paris", Simone is presumed dead.

SAND, CHARLES (Steven Berkoff, actor): First tier operative, out for 9 years and waiting to be brought back into Section One. Grabbed mid-mission by Red Cell, rest of team was killed during egress. Isn't sure how he was "made" (discovered). (Probably by Operations). Stayed alive by feeding Red Cell disposable Section Intel. Uses the cover name "Karel Giraldi". Asks Nikita to bring him in during the Goellner mission. She discovers Ops rerouted Sands communications then trashed them for the last 9 years. When Nikita goes to Madeline for advice, Madeline tells her Sand is her husband and then shoots him during the Goellner mission because bringing him in isn't an option.

SAND, MADELINE (FRAYN)  (Alberta Watson, actress): Second in Command, Level 9, Chief Strategist specializing in psych analysis, profiling, interrogation, and torture techniques. Recruited from prison. Accused of killing her sister, Sarah, by pushing her down the stairs. Has an ailing, senile mother. Madeline’s birthday is on the 7th – month unknown. Last name Frayn implied from a name plate seen in the episode "Gray" (S1). Married once to a man named Charles Sand, another field op who had been undercover for 9 years. When asked to be brought in, Madeline shoots him in the episode "In Between" (S2). Had an intimate relationship with Operations at one time and now maintains a love/hate relationship with him. Status level implies she has been with in Section approximately 20 years. Will manipulate anyone, including herself, to achieve her ends. (i.e. heart attack "Rescue", flat line "Mandatory Refusal", brain implant "Hell Hath No Fury") Commits suicide in S4 finale via cyanide tablet.

SATO (actor unknown): One of the operatives who accompanies Operations when he attempts to rescue Adam from The Collective. Sato is killed, in the stand-off, by The Collective. Sato is profiled in S5 "Let No Man Put Asunder".

SCHTOPPEL, MICK / MR. JONES
/ MARTIN HENDERSON (Carlo Rota, actor): Revealed in season 4 as the elusive head of Centre. Identity was known only by George, Chairman of Oversight. Jones appears in the season 1 episode "Gray" as a low-life informant named Mick Schtoppel working under the auspices of terrorist Ilya Benko. Mick continues to appear in successive seasons providing information to Section One. In Season 3 Mick moves into Apartment 411 across the hall from Nikita. Going undercover as Mick Schtoppel allowed him to better evaluate the performance of Section One. Seems to act autonomously - not known to whom he reports. It is also revealed in Season 4 that Mr. Jones recruits Nikita between seasons 1 and 2 to do a deep cover evaluation of Section One.  Events in S5 reveal that Mick/Mr. Jones is actually a stuttering actor named Martin Henderson who was handpicked by the real Mr. Jones to play a role. When Nikita discovers the deception, Mick/Mr. Jones/Martin mysteriously disappears from Centre. Most likely cancelled

SHELLEN (Todd William Schroeder, actor): Abeyance operative. Recalled after incurring excessive collateral on a Budapest mission. Spent time in psych reconditioning, but his aggressive response was not contained. Cancellation recommended. Madeline chooses him as a means of allowing Gregor Kessler to escape. Shellen attempts to beat up Kessler but is soon overpowered and killed. . .just as Madeline suspected. Profiled in S1 "Gambit".

SIMON (Richard Waugh, actor): Comm Operative who takes advantage of Birkoff’s insecurity following the art gallery incident. A linear thinker, Simon uses one of his programs on a KL transform to run a location sim and track Kavali’s movements to Istanbul, Turkey. What he doesn’t realize is that the frequency domain delta of the KL transform is way too large for the bandwidth of Kavali’s electronics. . .giving off enough noise to expose the active team. When the mission goes active the team is exposed and Simon breaks his legs during the air drop. Strangely enough Simon isn’t cancelled after this major screw-up but is returned to Comm. Simon is profiled in S1 "Noise".

SIMONE see  SAMUELLE, SIMONE

SINCLAIR (profiled only): Section pilot. Sinclair is killed when Operations’ plane is shot down in S5 "The Evil That Men Do".

SNOW (Jason Noel, actor): recurring Section op throughout the seasons. Considering his function he is most likely a Level 2 Field Operative. Snow is usually assigned to Michael's team.

STILLMAN (Christopher Clements, actor): Leader of Perimeter Team A on the Enquist Mission. Stillman is profiled in S2 "Mandatory Refusal".

SYKES (Dean McDermott ,actor): Assigned to Michael’s team for the Gantzby mission in S2 "New Regime". After failing to disconnect the alarm, thus exposing Michael, Petrosian decides to cancel him for his weak performance. Nikita is sent to handle the matter personally, but when she hesitates, Madeline shoots Sykes herself.

TORTURE TWINS - see Henry and Elizabeth

VIZCANO (Janet Kidder, actress): Field Operative, most likely Level 2. Vizcano has a sketchy psych profile having tried to kill herself over an unrequited love for Michael. When chosen for a mission Nikita is leading, Vizcano rebels to show her distaste for Nikita (who Vizcano knows is the object of Michael’s affection). Nikita gains Viscano’s trust when she risks her own life to save the unruly operative. Vizcano is unfortunately killed during a mission. Profiled in S2 "First Mission". (Janet Kidder returns to LFN in Season 3, portraying a young Roberta Wirth in Nikita’s memories of her mother).

WALTER (Don Francks, actor): Level 5, Head of Munitions, responsible for Section’s arsenal. Originally recruited in 1965 as a field operative. Spent 10 years in Spec Ops. After a mission where the rest of his team is killed, Walter decides to move into a department of Section with a better "survival" rate!  Current duties include weapons inventory and repair, explosives, and new weapons development. All weapons and equipment are locked up and must be distributed by Walter. When a team is in "prep" they are usually in Munitions collecting their weapons, gear and panels. Prior to a mission and after a briefing is concluded, Birkoff downloads all pertinent information, mission parameters and/or changes and gives them to Walter. Walter then issues the panels during prep. After a mission is completed all weapons, gear and panels are once again returned to Walter, logged in, and accounted for on inventory. Munitions’ inventory is closely monitored by Madeline and Operations. Any anomalies are Walter’s responsibility. Walter has been in Section for over 30 years and remembers when Operations was recruited. From conversations Walter has had with Madeline it would appear Section’s atmosphere is quite different from its inception – the focus of protecting innocents has been lost with Ops quest for increasing power. Walter’s last name is not known. Married once to a fellow operative named Belinda. The marriage did not last more than a few days as Belinda was sent on an abeyance mission. Operations feels he owes Walter something due to her death. Walter created "the 5% club". He believes 95% of the recruits have their souls sucked out of them within the first year. . .but Section doesn’t get to everybody, thus the 5% club. Considers Birkoff his best friend, calls Nikita "Sugar", and has helped Michael and Nikita on several occasions. Although betrayed by Nikita in S4 finale and sent to The Farm for violations against the Charter, he returns to Section in S5 at her request. At the end of S5 he remains in Section as Head of Munitions.

WOLFE, PAUL: see OPERATIONS / PAUL WOLFE

ZALMAN (Jamie Harris, actor): was the operative elevated to Head Strategist above Michael in Beyond The Pale. Zalman had to have been a high level op to obtain such a position. Was discovered he was working for Red Cell and the "escape" was a trap to catch Zalman.
