After dating Gail, Birkoff’s latest love interest, Mowen is eventually killed by a bacterial anthrax variant he picks up during a mission to a Red Cell facility in Glasgow, Scotland. Mowen appears in S2 "Mandatory Refusal" and "Inside Out".
