After many years, Rene resurfaces and Michael, now a Section operative, recognizes his work and attempts to protect him. Michael feels obligated to protect Rene since Rene took in Michaels sister after his arrest and provided for her. Once Rene is apprehended he attempts to deflect their interest in him and his small group by saying he works for Red Cell. Michael knows this is unlikely and is unsure whether he will be able to carry out the profile to eliminate Rene and whats left of his organization. Griffin is profiled in S1 "Verdict". HALED (Conrad Coates, actor): Second-in-command of The Collective during the S5 arc. After voicing his distrust of the Section One mole, he is forced to relinquish full command to Graff or commit voluntary suicide. interest in Kavali because his country is geographically positioned to facilitate tracking
and reconnaissance of many of Sections enemies. Kavali shows interest in a stockpile
of Stinger missiles he purchases from R.J. Golden. Kavalis men intercept the Section
team at the Art gallery and consequently find the trackers Michael places on the missiles.

Michael and Nikita successfully protect Mijovich against an assassination attempt by the Legion. Mijovich returns again in S1 "Verdict" when he is recently elected Premier of his new nation after a decade of bloody chaos. Michaels team must once again protect Mijovich during his inauguration when they discover a contract has been taken out on Mijovichs life. If he dies, the region will destabilize rapidly once again. Anti-Western terrorist organization and primary enemy of Section One for nearly 20 years.
Founded by a man known only as "The Cardinal". In 1981, The Cardinal recruits
two men, Cyrus Norasty and Kim Man Jing. Norasty was born in a small village in Norac. At
17, after witnessing the murder of his father by death squad soldiers, he formed a small
para-military organization that opposed the hard line government. On March 12, 1978,
Norasty meets Kim Man Jing. Norasty supplied the soldiers and Kim gave them the weapons,
The Cardinal provided direction. The new alliance became known throughout the
anti-terrorist community as Red Cell. The organization has a distinct
hierarchy of players and members. Seems to operate out of multiple substations located
within a given territory. Relations with other groups outside their territory are dicey.
Much like Section, they make use of sophisticated strategists and field operatives. The
functioning head of Red Cell is referred to as "The Director".
(PROFILE: INCOMPLETE) SHIROV, VINCENT (Dan
Pawlick, actor): Oldest member of the three-man crew that attempts to steal the CM-12 chip

steal the chip themselves. Shirov gets gunned down during the meet with Borsos. Shirov is
profiled in S1 "Missing THE COLLECTIVE: see COLLECTIVE, THE TIBURON: South
American terrorist group led by a man named Cassian Perez (Domenic Cuzzocrea, actor).

S1 "Gambit". VALENTI, MASSIMA (Allanah Myles, actress): An arms dealer with ties to The Collective, she is found close to all their tactical strikes. Heavily guarded and viewed as having big ambitions but small talent. When she tries to supply The Collective with 20 anthrax rockets, Section detains her supplier at the Turkish border placing her in a tight situation. The scenario allows Mick Schtoppel to offer his services. When Mick and Nikita meet Valenti to deliver the anthrax, they apprehend her and return her to Section for questioning. She cracks within an hour and gives up a lot of information on The Collective. She is most likely cancelled after interrogation. Valenti is profiled in S5 "All The Worlds A Stage". VAN VACTOR, GIDEON (Bill MacDonald, actor): Brokers an alliance between multiple anti-western terrorist groups, Shining Path, Hezbollah, everyone from the middles east to the far east. Although the groups are known enemies they all have one common enemy. . .Section One. Van Vactor attempts to put an operation in place to take out Section One. Van Vactor is profiled in the series premier S1 "Nikita". WICKE, JOHN AND HELEN:
(Wayne Best, actor; Sherry Miller, actress) International arms dealers since 1984.
Activity is mostly limited to class two or three explosives. Latest acquisition is a
nuclear trigger. A highly classified device, its just as valuable as a warhead
itself. Seemingly invincible, their strength is that they trust no one. Section discovers
that they have one weakness. . .a missing daughter. (NOTE: Helen tells Nikita she and John
met eleven years ago, which would be 1986. Yet their profile suggests they have been in
business since 1984. Apparently the proofreader was sick that day. . .) Nikita poses as
the missing daughter to use the weakness to Sections advantage. Nikita kills John
knowing he wont give up the location of the trigger. When Section threatens to kill
her daughter, Helen gives up the triggers location. Section retrieves the trigger
and the buyers. Profiled in S1 "Mother". |
