After many years, Rene resurfaces and Michael, now a Section operative, recognizes his work and attempts to protect him. Michael feels obligated to protect Rene since Rene took in Michael’s sister after his arrest and provided for her. Once Rene is apprehended he attempts to deflect their interest in him and his small group by saying he works for Red Cell. Michael knows this is unlikely and is unsure whether he will be able to carry out the profile to eliminate Rene and what’s left of his organization. Although he doesn’t intend to sell to Section at any price he tries to set them up and take the money. When Operations discovers this, he authorizes Michael to kill Enquist after control of the material is acquired. When the mission goes bad Michael goes on Mandatory Refusal to complete the mission. GRIFFIN (Mary Moore, actress): Assassin paid to take out Jovan Mijovich at his inauguration. A relative newcomer, no physical description is available. Griffin takes out Michael’s source with a car bomb when the source tells Michael about the contract out on Mijovich. Section’s existing profile on Griffin suggests a young European, aggressive. Griffin turns out to be a woman and Section apprehends her before she can kill Mijovich. Griffin is profiled in S1 "Verdict".

HALED (Conrad Coates, actor): Second-in-command of The Collective during the S5 arc. After voicing his distrust of the Section One mole, he is forced to relinquish full command to Graff or commit voluntary suicide. Kavali shows interest in a stockpile of Stinger missiles he purchases from R.J. Golden. Kavali’s men intercept the Section team at the Art gallery and consequently find the trackers Michael places on the missiles. Kavali is tracked to Istanbul and a team is dispatched.
